Things have been awfully quiet around the Digital SLR Guide lately.
Not a peep on this web log, and no new pages posted. What gives?
Well, the truth is that I have been hard at work putting together several new pages for the guide, and crafting better ways to communicate with everyone about what's in progress.
This explains why you're reading this post right now.
You may notice that the category of this post is "Coming Soon" and in the future I will be adding posts to this category about things that are just around the corner for the Digital SLR Guide.
This way you won't think that I'm slacking off at all and leaving you to navigate the turbulent waters of digital SLR cameras all on your lonesome.
This will also let you know if a digital SLR camera guide is right around the corner for a camera that you are interested in. If it is, you might find it worthwhile to wait until I've completed the guide to find out more information about how the camera performs.
OK, enough introduction.
Let's get to the real meat of this post: what's I've been up to and what changes you can expect in the next couple of days (and months).
Megapixels
It came to my attention that I had not devoted any pages to the easiest way to tell digital cameras apart: based on the number of megapixels they have.
In order to correct that, I will soon be posting overview information for all of the cameras in each of the following bins: 6 megapixel, 7.5 megapixel, 8 megapixel and 10 megapixel digital SLR cameras.
Look for those pages later on this week.
Directory
I also realized that my links to other web sites was woefully lacking, and have taken steps to improve those as well. The links will be broken down into categories, which should make it easier for you to find the additional information you're looking for.
Upcoming Guides
This month I will get my hands on a Nikon D70s (per reader's request). Look for the guide of that to be posted at the beginning of August.
I also intend to use the first digital SLR from Sony (the Alpha A100) at the beginning of August, and the guide to that will probably be up for your perusal toward the end of that month.
That's all for now - subscribe for e-mail updates (in the top left corner) if you'd like to be notified when those pages and guides become available.
